About me

Hi! I’m Nicole—a researcher, artist, and wildlife specialist determined to rethink our approach to conservation science.

After studying Ecology, Anthropology, and Leadership in college, I spent three years working for conservation non-profits, supporting data-driven communications and stakeholder engagement. I’ve now returned to school to pursue my doctorate in wildlife science.

During my PhD journey and beyond, I want to help bridge the gap between research and action. I believe that science should be accessible for everyone, and by helping break down the barriers between academia and the “outside world”, we can better use research and data as tools to drive critical change at local, corporate, and legislative scales.
